Applies to: Centrify-Enabled Samba on all OSes
Question:
What file systems does Centrify-Enabled Samba support?
Answer:
By default, Samba will only work with standard file system JFS2. Currently Centrify does not support Oracle's ACFS or ASM, which is a file system used for a rack environment with shared disks for database clustering. If ACFS file system is used, it's known that Samba share can not be accessed from Windows 7 and will get a permission denied error. Centrify is not responsible for different File Systems available other than the standard JFS2.
