Tips for finding Knowledge Articles

  • - Enter just a few key words related to your question or problem
  • - Add Key words to refine your search as necessary
  • - Do not use punctuation
  • - Search is not case sensitive
  • - Avoid non-descriptive filler words like "how", "the", "what", etc.
  • - If you do not find what you are looking for the first time,reduce the number of key words you enter and try searching again.
  • - Minimum supported Internet Explorer version is IE9

KB-22996: Connector not showing up in Access Manager under "Test Centrify Identity Platform Connection"

In Access Manager, when right clicking on "Centrify Access Manager" and choosing "Test Centrify Identity Platform Connection", no Connectors are showing in the list,

Even though in the tenant there is a Connector that shows as active.

In order for Connectors to show up when running the "Test Centrify Identity Platform Connection"  tool, they need to have the "AD Proxy" Service Enabled on the tenant. 
If it is not enabled for a Connector, that Connector will not show up in the tool to be tested.


Enable the "AD Proxy" service for the Connectors in the tenant, either by right clicking on the Connector and choosing "Enable AD Proxy" or by checking the box next to the Connector, clicking the "Actions" button and choosing "Enable AD Proxy".

Once the AD Proxy has been enabled, it will show in the list of enabled services in the tenant.

That Connector will then show up in the "Test Centrify Identity Platform Connection"  tool.
