Yes, the SQL stored procedure of DirectAudit 2.0 needs to run as "NT Authority\SYSTEM" during installation.  It is recommended  to grant all the permissions of the SQL Server instance to this  account in order to perform permissions checking and safeguard against any unauthorized actions.
