KB-2054: What is the CFBundleidentifier value of the Centrify Preference Pane?

Centrify Identity Service, Mac Edition ,

12 April,16 at 11:18 AM

Question:

What is the CFBundleidentifier value of the Centrify Preference Pane?

How can the Centrify Preference Pane be always enabled for all users?

Answer:

The CFBundleidentifier value of Centrify Preference Pane in System Preferences is:
  • com.centrify.centrifyPrefsPane

If the "Limit items shown in System Preferences" GP is being used, the Centrify Preferences Pane can still be enabled by using the following GP:

User Configuration > Centrify Settings > Mac OS X Settings > System Preferences Settings > Mac OS X 10.x Settings > Enable System Preferences Panes > "Enable other System Preferences panes"

Add the following entry:

com.centrify.centrifyPrefsPane

Note that for this GP to be seen, the following GP will also need to be enabled:

User Configuration > Centrify Settings > Mac OS X Settings > System Preferences Settings > "Use version specific settings"

To find CFBundleIdentifier values for other preference panes and applications, see the following KBs:
