Privilege Elevation Service ,

Problem:

It has been discovered that when trying to install the Centrify Agent for Windows 3.5.1.334 on some Windows platforms, the following error is generated and the agent does not get installed.

User-added image

Cause:

Citrix Virtual Delivery Agent (VDA) version 7.9 or higher is installed. Starting with VDA 7.9, Citrix issues a kernel APC to hook into the process. The issue is caused by KAPC hook on wevtutil.exe. CtxUvi is Citrix universal Injection kernel Driver which is developed to have zero dependency on AppInit.dll for hooking mechanism.

Solution:

Centrify has not implemented a solution as the issue is with Citrix.
