KB-18829: adcdiag failed with certificate error on solaris/AIX/HP-UX machines

20 August,19 at 07:39 AM

Problem:

When doing the adcdiag against the tenant url - *.centrify.com, there is an error in connecting to trusted identity platform (cloud portal) – which is a certificate issue in accessing the portal.

Cause:

The certificate bundle in some old OSes like Solaris/AIX etc. do not have the updated certificate bundle which resulting in the certificate issue.

Solution:

Make sure the default CA bundle is the latest. Otherwise please download it from https://curl.haxx.se/ca/cacert.pem
