KB-1728: Getting error message "Directory /var/centrifydc/reg/users/refresh does not exist: No such file or directory" in /var/adm/messages

Centrify DirectAudit ,   Centrify DirectControl ,   Centrify Identity Service, Mac Edition ,

12 April,16 at 11:02 AM

Applies to:  Centrify's DirectControl 4.1.1 running on Solaris and Red Hat Linux.

Problem:

How do I stop the error message "
Directory /var/centrifydc/reg/users/refresh does not exist: No such file or directory" from filing up /var/adm/message?

Cause:

This is a bug in adgpupdate that will be fixed in a future release.

Workaround:

Please stop /usr/share/centrifydc/mappers/machine/sample.pl from being executable using:

    chmod -x /usr/share/centrifydc/mappers/machine/sample.pl

Resolution:

This will be fixed in future release of DirectControl 4.2
