Question:

How to redirect the centrifydc.log to a different location other than /var/log (the default)?

Answer:

First, turn on debug logging:
/usr/share/centrifydc/bin/addebug on

Then change the auth.debug location in /etc/syslog.conf to point to the new location:
vi /etc/syslog.conf
# Centrify DirectControl logging
auth.debug                              -/var/log/centrifydc.log

Lastly, restart the syslog process.
