Applies to: Centrify OpenSSH 5.0p1 on Solaris 10 Sparc / x86

Problem:
X11 Forwarding fails with Centrify OpenSSH 5.0 & Solaris. If sshd is run in debug mode, you might see the following errors:

debug3: bind port 6012: Cannot assign requested address

Cause:
This issue occurs on Solaris when IPv6 is enabled.

Resolution:
Add the "AddressFamily inet" parameter to the file /etc/centrifydc/ssh/sshd_config and restart sshd.

(or)

# ifconfig lo0 inet6 plumb up 
# touch /etc/hostname6.lo0
(to make it permanent)
