Tips for finding Knowledge Articles

  • - Enter just a few key words related to your question or problem
  • - Add Key words to refine your search as necessary
  • - Do not use punctuation
  • - Search is not case sensitive
  • - Avoid non-descriptive filler words like "how", "the", "what", etc.
  • - If you do not find what you are looking for the first time,reduce the number of key words you enter and try searching again.

KB-11453: Centrify Windows agent is blocking the export of the config using the utility "Secedit.exe"

Problem: Security agent failed to export the config to verify the policies via Secedit.exe

Cause:
An issue where Users have elevated Privileges and do not have sufficient permission to access "Security Settings" node in local group policy editor on Windows 8.1 and Windows 2012 R2.

Solution: It can be resolved by installing the Microsoft Hotfix.
