KB-11168: dacheck - Extra libraries dependency are found in /usr/share/centrifydc/bin/cdash

Auditing and Monitoring Service ,

8 October,18 at 04:18 PM

Problem:

When running dacheck on RHEL 7.4 and up, messages under the Cdash dependency section may be seen referencing extra libraries being found and to contact Centrify Support.

# /usr/share/centrifydc/bin/dacheck
Cdash dependency:
    - Extra libraries dependency are found in /usr/share/centrifydc/bin/cdash
      Please contact Centrify Support.
    - Extra libraries dependency are found in /bin/centrifyda
      Please contact Centrify Support.

Cause:

For RHEL/Centos 7.4 and up, there were some additional libraries linked for cdash and centrifyda and the list that dacheck references was not updated to check those new libraries.

Workaround:

Those messages can be safely ignored for now.

Resolution:

Will be fixed in the 18.11 release of Centrify Auditing and Monitoring Service
