KB-10607: SFTP only user is able to access a any directory tree

Authentication Service ,

1 July,18 at 01:44 AM

Problem:
A user is setup as an SFTP only user and can access any directory using the 'cd' command. They need to be restricted to accessing only their home directory.

Cause:
Some library files from the older versions of Centrify have been over-written when upgrading.

Resolution:

Copy the libtinfo.so.5 library over from a working server.
