KB-10296: What do the different values of column "State" in Device table mean?

10 May,18 at 12:42 PM

Applies to: All versions of Centrify Identity Service

Question:
What do the different values of column "State" in Device table mean?

Answer:
The value of column "State" in Device table means the current state of the device. Possible values are 1,2,3,4 which mean:

1 - Profiling/Enrolling
2 - Live/Managed
3 - GPApplied
4 - Terminated

For example, below query lists the device that has been unenrolled in the past 30 days:
SELECT Owner, ModelName, LastSeen, DisplayState, DeviceID, ID AS _ID FROM Device WHERE LastSeen <= DateFunc('now', '-30') AND State = 3
order by LastSeen asc

Likewise, below query lists the device that has been unreachable in the past 30 days:
SELECT Owner, ModelName, LastSeen, DisplayState, DeviceID, ID AS _ID FROM Device WHERE LastSeen <= DateFunc('now', '-30') AND State = 4
order by LastSeen asc

Please refer to the data dictionary: https://developer.centrify.com/docs/device-table for more information about other columns and tables.
