KB-10056: Upgrading to DirectControl 5.4.3 and getting an error "Current platform is not supported or package file is missing"

Centrify DirectControl ,

1 April,18 at 02:27 AM

Problem:
After upgrading from DirectControl 5.2.2 to 5.4.3 on RHEL 7.3 an error shows saying ""The CentrifyDC package is not installed on this computer. Could not find CentrifyDC-5.4.3-rhel5.x86_64.rpm in ./ directory. Current platform is not supported or package file is missing."

Resolution:
Removed the DirectControl 5.4.3 version and upgraded the 5.2.2 version to 5.3.1. After it completed successfully, upgraded the 5.3.1 version to 5.4.3 without an issue.
