Problem:

Interoperability problems between Samba and Microsoft Windows 2008 servers

Cause:

There are some known  problems between Centrify Samba and Microsoft Windows 2008 servers for which there are no practical workarounds.

Workaround:

Please continue to use Windows 2003 on machines that need to work with Samba.

Resolution:

Download and use DirectControl-Enabled Samba 4.3.1 based on Samba 3.3.9.
