KB-0541: Login via ftp fails on AIX

Centrify DirectControl ,

Problem:

User login fails for ftp on AIX even though the user's shell is added to /etc/shells.

Cause:

AIX requires the user's shell to be added as a valid shell to
/etc/security/login.cfg instead of /etc/shells.

Resolution:

Please add the user's shell to the "shells" attribute in login.cfg. The user should now be able to login via ftp.
