KB-0419: How does Centrify handle daylight savings time?

Centrify DirectControl ,   Centrify Identity Service, Mac Edition ,

12 April,16 at 11:13 AM

Applies to: All versions of Centrify DirectControl

Question: How does Centrify handle daylight saving time?

Answer:

Centrify agent synchronizes the clock with the domain controllers if Centrify SNTP is being used. If not, Centrify agent depends on the Computer system internals to synchronize the clock with any time service provider/server that is configured.

All of time manipulations in Centrify daemons are performed in UTC and hence when daylight savings are applied, there wont be any sort of issues.
