KB-0362: "internal server error" from Apache in ADFS environment

Centrify DirectControl ,

1 December,17 at 12:38 AM

Problem:

On heavily loaded systems, intermittent failures result with the message, “internal server error” in Apache logs.

Cause:

The default timeout for adfsagent is configured for 5 seconds. This is too low for heavily loaded systems.

Resolution:

Change the default timeout for adfsagent from 5 seconds to 60 seconds by adding the following line in
/etc/centrifydc/centrifydc.conf
adfsagent.read.data.timeout: 60

Note:
You will not see the above line because the 5 second default is already embedded in the agent.
