KB-0083: Using the sudo command on HP-UX

Centrify DirectControl ,

12 April,16 at 11:31 AM

Question:

Can I use the sudo command and group policies on HP-UX?

Answer:
The sudo command is not supported in a native HP-UX operating environment. Centrify provides a sudo package built specifically to use Centrify DirectControl. Using this package you can implement the SuDo Permissions group policy to modify the sudo users and commands on computers running HP-UX. The sudo package is included with the HP-UX agent install package.

The HP sudo package that supports PAM (version 1.6.8p12 or above) is conveniently included in the DirectControl downloadable modules for the HP platform.
