How to override account on HP-UX?

By default, if you map the root account to an Active Directory account, you can still log on to a computer with the local root account by specifying root@localhost when prompted for the user name. On HP-UX, however, the default keyboard settings use the @ symbol as the kill-line character. If the symbol as mapped to perform a special operation in this way, you must escape the character when you are specifying the local override account on a computer. For example, if you are attempting to log on with the local root account, you can log on by typing root\@localhost when you are prompted for the user name.
