Answer:

Because the Centrify DirectControl daemon, adclient, is defined as an AIX system resource, you use the following commands to start, stop, and check the status of the daemon:

Start:
startsrc -s centrifydc

Stop:
stopsrc -s centrifydc

Status:
lssrc -s centrifydc
