Question:
How to use adedit to add an AIX extended attribute?

Answer:
Usage: adedit aixattr.sh [AD admin] [zone user] [attribute] [value]

**Please test this with a testing account before using it on a production system.

e.g.

[root@rhls64 script]# adedit aixattr.sh administrator souser aix.stack -1
administrator@ILTEST.NET's password:
[root@rhls64 script]# adedit aixattr.sh administrator souser aix.core 2097151
administrator@ILTEST.NET's password:

[root@rhls64 script]# adquery user souser -X aix.stack
-1
[root@rhls64 script]# adquery user souser -X aix.core
2097151

Please refer to the sample script attached.

Note: To find all supported user and group extended attributes, please run
adquery user -X help
adquery group -X help

These two commands can be executed on all Unix/Linux server that has CentrifyDC agent installed.  We have now expanded extended attribute support to HPUX.
